Young Professionals of Seattle was established in 2008, and reinvented in 2011, to provide a place where young professionals can connect with other *young professionals and help thaw the rumored "Seattle Freeze".
Young Pro·fes·sion·als· of Se·at·tle (YPOS) | noun: A networking organization emphasizing professional development, volunteerism and helping other professionals make the right connections. You can catch us, and a handful of our 2,300+ members, at a YPOS monthly happy hour or one of our various educational, volunteer or special events. We meet for a happy hour social once a month at various hot spots in the Downtown Seattle area where we typically see between 100 and 150 young professionals. These socials are intended as a time for young professionals to meet others young professionals that are interested in meeting new people and advancing their careers.
But wait... We don't stop at happy hours! YPOS also puts together special events (wine tasting, scotch and cigar tastings, ski trips, etc.), professional development and volunteer events. Got an idea for an event? Don't be afraid to let us know!
YPOS strives to make all of our events as casual and low pressure for our members as possible. While we discourage surprise solicitation, we'd love to chat with you before hand if there's a particular event or charity you want marketed at one of our many channels!
